Ethylene glycol stearate dissolves or emulsifies when heated in surfactant complexes, and during cooling, it precipitates as flaky crystals, producing a pearlescent luster. Used in liquid detergent products, it creates a noticeable pearlescent effect, increases product viscosity, and also moisturizes the skin, nourishes and protects hair, and has anti-static properties. It has good compatibility with other types of surfactants and demonstrates stable pearlescent effects and thickening and conditioning functions. Used in shampoos, bath liquids, moisturizing creams, and high-end liquid detergents. It can also serve as a pearlescent dispersant, solubilizer, lubricant in pharmaceutical production, and in metal processing detergents and fiber processing fields. When cold compounding is used, the pearl luster flakes need to be pre-formulated into a pearlescent paste.
